Who I Am
My work comes from a need to understand what it means to be human. Not in theory, but in the way it feels when you think and want, when you remember things that never happened, when you carry dreams that fall apart in the light of day. Sometimes I wonder if any of it is real, or if it's all just the brain doing what it does. Still, the feeling stays. Drawing is the only way I know to follow it. It’s simple. You sit down and make a mark. Then another. You don’t dress it up. You don’t lie. You try to catch something that slips through language, something you’ve felt but never said. And if you’re lucky, it ends up on the page.
Artistic Process
My process blends traditional and digital tools, depending on what the work calls for. I often start with loose sketches on paper, tablet, or canvas to explore form and rhythm. From there, I build layers and refine as I go. If I’m working digitally, I use it to experiment quickly, test composition, or push an idea further. If it’s a physical piece, I work directly with paint, ink, or charcoal and let the medium guide the pace. Each step is hands-on. I keep the process open and let the piece shift as it grows. What matters is that the final work feels honest, like it couldn’t have been made any other way.
